At MVBT , our mission is to inspire, educate, and empower through the art of dance. We are committed to providing exceptional training in a welcoming and inclusive environment where dancers of all ages, backgrounds, and experience levels can grow both artistically and personally.
We believe that dance is for everyone and that the performing arts have the power to build confidence, discipline, creativity, and connection within our community. Through quality instruction, meaningful performance opportunities, and creative exploration, we strive to nurture not only strong dancers, but thoughtful, compassionate, and well-rounded individuals.
In addition to technical excellence, we are dedicated to educating our students and audiences in the rich history, cultural significance, and evolving artistry of dance across many genres and traditions. We seek to foster an appreciation for the arts that extends beyond the studio and encourages lifelong learning, expression, and community engagement.

The Nutcracker
Experience the magic of The Nutcracker, a beloved holiday tradition that has captivated audiences for generations. Set to Tchaikovsky’s iconic score, this enchanting ballet follows young Clara on a whimsical journey through the Land of Snow and the Kingdom of Sweets after a magical Christmas Eve adventure with her mysterious Nutcracker prince. Filled with dazzling dancing, colorful characters, and timeless music, The Nutcracker is a heartwarming celebration of imagination, wonder, and the spirit of the holiday season.
Spring Ballet

Each year at The Nutcracker we, proudly announce the spring’s full-length ballet production. Past productions have included beloved classics such as Coppélia, Peter Pan, Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, and more. Audiences look forward to this exciting tradition as we continue bringing timeless stories and unforgettable performances to the stage each season.

In addition to our classical productions, MVBT is proud to present original contemporary and modern performances that explore storytelling, music, and artistic collaboration in innovative ways. Recent productions have included Poe: Nevermore, an immersive evening inspired by the works of Edgar Allan Poe, and Art Unfolded, a celebration of visual art brought to life through movement. Our dancers have also had the unique opportunity to perform alongside The Newbees, a live Beatles tribute band, creating an unforgettable fusion of dance and live music. These productions allow our artists to explore creativity beyond traditional ballet while offering audiences fresh and exciting performance experiences.
Outreach Performances
Community outreach is an important part of the mission of MVBT, and we are proud to share the joy of dance beyond the stage and studio walls. Throughout the year, our dancers participate in outreach performances and collaborative events that bring the arts directly into the community. Upcoming performances include an appearance at Pyramid Hill’s Art Fair on September 26th, an in-studio performance in partnership with The Boys & Girls Club this spring, and a special presentation for our Without Limits program. Through these experiences, we strive to make dance accessible, meaningful, and enriching for audiences and dacners of all ages and abilities.
